YAKULT CONTINUES TO SUPPORT MALAYSIA FOOTBALL SQUAD THE DEAF TIGERS TEAM

27 May 2021 – Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd today announced to continue its cooperation with the Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf) for another year from August 2021 to August 2022.

This is not the first time Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bdn have established cooperation with MSDeaf because last year, Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. also helped in the preparation of the Malaysian Deaf Football team or the Malaysia Deaf Tigers ahead of their debut appearance in the 2020 Deaf World Cup in Mapo, South Korea. However, the tournament was postponed due to the worldwide outbreak of Covid-19.

The sponsorship handover ceremony between Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd represented by the Managing Director of Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd, Hiroshi Hamada and MSDeaf represented by its President, Ong Shin Ruen. The sponsorship worth RM40,000.00 includes cash amounting to RM30,000.00, Yakult probiotic drinks and sports goods were presented at the Office of the Malaysian Deaf Football Association in Kuala Lumpur.

In addition, Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd also presented 29 pairs of football shoes received from PUMA Japan through the ASEAN Partnership Agreement between Yakult Malaysia and the Japanese League football club, Cerezo Osaka. Through this agreement, Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bdn is the Official Sponsor of Probiotic Drinks to MSDeaf.

According to Hiroshi Hamada, ‘We hope that our continued support can help MSDeaf as well as the Malaysian Deaf Football team who is preparing to participate in the 24th Deaflympic Football Qualifying Round in Caxias do Sul, Brazil in May 2022.’

‘In addition, we also hope that Yakult probiotic supplement can ensure that the athletes’ health is in the best possible condition. This is because, 70% of our immunity is located in the gut and it is very important to ensure that our gut is always in an optimal condition’, he added.

The Malaysian Deaf Football Team, coached by Head Coach Manachai Sittisarn, is now in the group of 24 best teams in the world and is ranked 6th in Asia Pacific and also ranked second in Asean for deaf football.

YAKULT TERUS MENYOKONG PASUKAN ‘SKUAD HARIMAU PEKAK MALAYSIA

27 Mei 2021 – Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. hari ini mengumumkan meneruskan kerjasama dengan Persatuan Sukan Orang Pekak Malaysia (MSDeaf) bagi tempoh setahun lagi bermula Ogos 2021 hingga Ogos 2022.

Ini bukanlah kali pertama Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bdn menjalinkan kerjasama dengan MSDeaf kerana pada tahun lalu, Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. turut sama membantu dalam persiapan pasukan Bola Sepak Orang Pekak Malaysia yang lebih dikenali sebagai `Harimau Pekak Malaysia` menjelang penampilan sulung mereka dalam Kejohanan Piala Dunia Orang Pekak 2020 di Mapo, Korea, namun, kejohanan itu ditunda akibat penularan wabak Covid-19 di seluruh dunia.

Majlis penyerahan penajaan  diantara pihak Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd yang diwakili oleh Pengarah Urusan Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd, Mr. Hiroshi Hamada dan pihak MSDeaf yang diwakil oleh Presidennya, Ong Shin Ruen. Penajaan yang bernilai RM40,000.00 itu merangkumi wang tunai berjumlah RM30,000.00, minuman probiotik Yakult dan barangan sukan telah disampaikan di Pejabat Persatuan Sukan Orang Pekak Malaysia di Kuala Lumpur.

Selain itu, Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd juga turut menyampaikan 29 pasang kasut bola sepak yang diterima dari pihak PUMA Jepun menerusi Perjanjian Kerjasama Rakan ASEAN diantara pihak Yakult Malaysia  bersama kelab bola sepak Liga Jepun, Cerezo Osaka. Menerusi perjanjian ini, Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bdn merupakan Penaja Rasmi MInuman Probiotik kepada MSDeaf.

Menurut Hiroshi Hamada, ‘Kami berharap sokongan berterusan dari pihak kami dapat membantu MSDeaf dan juga pasukan Bola Sepak Orang Pekak Malaysia yang dalam persiapan menyertai Pusingan Kelayakan Bola Sepak Temasya Deaflympic yang ke 24 di Caxias do Sul, Brazil pada Mei 2022.

Selain itu, kami juga berharap suplemen probiotik Yakult dapat memastikan kesihatan atlet berada dalam kondisi yang terbaik. Ini kerana, 70% kekebalan badan kita terletak pada usus dan sangat penting untuk memastikan usus kita sentiasa berada dalam keadaan yang optimum’, tambahnya.

Pasukan Bola Sepak Orang Pekak Malaysia yang dibimbing oleh Ketua Jurulatih, Manachai Sittisarn kini berada dalam kelompok 24 pasukan terbaik dunia malah turut menghuni ranking ke-6 Asia Pasifik dan juga ranking kedua Asean bagi bola sepak orang Pekak.
