Yakult continues its mission to promote healthier eating and active lifestyles among school community through Yakult Healthy Mission (“Misi Sihat Yakult 3.0”) program
Kuala Lumpur, 10 December 2024 – In conjunction with the World Digestive Health Day, Yakult Malaysia continues this nationwide school program, with the support of Ministry of Education. The closing ceremony was wrapped up cheerfully today at Aloft Hotel, Kuala Lumpur in the presence of Tuan Haji Azman Bin Mahsuri, Deputy Director, School Planning and Management Sector, Ministry of Education Malaysia and Mr. Hiroki Yanase, the Managing Director of Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
This year marked the third consecutive years of this nationwide school program, “Misi Sihat Yakult”. The main objective of this program, which involved 144 primary schools nationwide with 9926 teachers and 140,543 students, is to raise awareness among school community in particular, that healthy eating and physical fitness play vital role in maintaining overall health.
The selected schools are required to conduct various healthy eating and physical fitness related activities in their schools. Their high commitment and creativity created an awe, where the schools with the outstanding commitment, were recognized at today’s closing ceremony.
This round, SK Chukai was announced as the grand winner of the 2024 Best School Award. The 1st runner up went to SK Chengal Lempong, followed by SK Padang Midin, who won a 3rd place. Apart from these, special category awards like the Best Healthy Eating, Best Jump Rope Fitness, Quiz and the Online Activity with the Most Hashtags awards were also presented to SK Chukai. On the other hand, SK Chengal Lempong also brought back the name of the Best World Digestive Health Day Activity Award and the Most Creative Art Sculpture Award by creating a useful kiosk reusing emptied Yakult bottles.
According the Hiroki Yanase, the Managing Director of Yakult Malaysia, “This marks the third consecutive year of Misi Sihat Yakult program together with school community. We hope to continue our efforts in creating a healthier community starting from young age. We are always committed to encouraging the students towards practicing healthy eating habits and being physically active for a better and healthier nation in the future. Program Misi Sihat Yakult 3.0 teruskan agenda pemakanan sihat dan gaya hidup aktif dalam komuniti sekolah
Kuala Lumpur, 10 Disember 2024 – Yakult Malaysia meneruskan penganjuran program Misi Sihat Yakult 3.0 sempena Hari Kesihatan Penghadaman Sedunia dengan sokongan daripada Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia. Majlis penutup program ini telah diadakan di Aloft Hotel, Kuala Lumpur dan dimeriahkan dengan kehadiran Tuan Haji Azman Bin Mahsuri, Timbalan Pengarah Sektor Perancangan dan Pengurusan Sekolah-sekolah, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia dan Encik Hiroki Yanase, Pengarah Urusan Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Objektif program ini adalah meningkatkan kesedaran dalam kalangan komuniti sekolah tentang kepentingan amalan pemakanan sihat dan kecergasan fizikal bagi mengekalkan kesihatan yang baik. Program yang telah memasuki tahun ketiga penganjuran ini melibatkan 144 buah sekolah rendah di seluruh negara dengan penyertaan 9,926 orang guru dan 140,543 orang pelajar.
Sekolah-sekolah yang terpilih dikehendaki menjalankan pelbagai aktiviti berkaitan pemakanan sihat dan kecergasan fizikal di sekolah masing-masing. Majlis penutup pada hari ini mengiktiraf sekolah-sekolah yang menunjukkan komitmen terbaik dan kreativiti yang paling mengagumkan.
SK Chukai, Terengganu telah diumumkan sebagai pemenang utama selaku Sekolah Terbaik Keseluruhan bagi tahun 2024. Tempat kedua dan tempat ketiga masing-masing dimenangi oleh SK Chengal Lempong, Pahang dan SK Padang Midin, Terengganu. SK Chukai turut memenangi anugerah bagi kategori Aktiviti Pemakanan Sihat Terbaik, Aktiviti Kecergasan Lompat Tali Terbaik dan Aktiviti Atas Talian #hashtag Terbanyak. SK Chengal Lempong pula membawa pulang anugerah bagi kategori Aktiviti Hari Kesihatan Penghadaman Sedunia Terbaik dan Arca Seni Kreatif (Botol Yakult) Terbaik.
Menurut Encik Hiroki Yanase, Yakult Malaysia berharap akan dapat meneruskan usaha mewujudkan komuniti yang lebih sihat daripada peringkat awal usia lagi. “Kami juga sentiasa komited untuk menggalakkan pelajar mengamalkan pemakanan yang sihat dan aktif secara fizikal untuk negara yang lebih baik dan lebih sihat pada masa hadapan. Saya juga ingin merakamkan penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada pihak Kementerian Pendidikan dan semua sekolah terlibat atas sokongan berterusan terhadap program kami dan juga kepada minuman probiotik Yakult”, katanya lagi.
