YAKULT CONTRIBUTES TO MEDICAL FRONTLINERS IN SIBU

Sibu, June 2021 – Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, contributes a total of 1,500 bottles of Yakult probiotic drinks to the medical frontliners in Sibu General Hospital, KPJ Sibu Specialist Medical Centre and Rejang Medical Centre during this current full Movement Control Order (FMCO) period.

Yakult (M) Sdn Bhd has been providing free probiotic drinks to the medical frontliners in other hospitals throughout Malaysia, including Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), KPJ Selangor Medical Centre, UPM Teaching Hospital, Serdang (HPUPM), Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR), Klang and Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab ll, Kelantan throughout this MCO period.

According to the Managing Director of Yakult Malaysia, Mr. Hiroshi Hamada, “During this tough period, this is our way to show gratitude and support towards medical frontliners who have been putting so much effort to curb the spread of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic last year. We hope that these products will help to support the immune system of our medical frontliners and at the same time reduce risk of infections during this challenging period.”

Sibu, Jun 2021 – Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd telah memberikan sumbangan sebanyak 1,500 botol minuman probiotik Yakult kepada petugas perubatan barisan hadapan di Hospital Besar Sibu, Pusat Perubatan Pakar KPJ Sibu dan Pusat Perubatan Rejang sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Penuh sebagai sebahagian daripada tanggungjawab sosial korporatnya.

Yakult (M) Sdn Bhd juga telah memberi sumbangan minuman probiotik secara percuma kepada petugas perubatan hospital-hospital di seluruh negara, termasuk Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), Pusat Perubatan Pakar KPJ Selangor, Hospital Pengajar Universiti Putra Malaysia (HPUPM), Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang dan Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kelantan sepanjang tempoh PKP.

Menurut Pengarah Urusan Yakult Malaysia, Encik Hiroshi Hamada, “Kami ingin menzahirkan tanda terima kasih dan sokongan kami terhadap petugas perubatan barisan hadapan yang telah berusaha keras untuk mengekang penularan Covid-19 sejak tahun lalu. Kami berharap minuman probiotik kami dapat membantu menyokong sistem imun petugas perubatan dan pada masa yang sama mengurangkan risiko jangkitan dalam tempoh yang mencabar ini.”
