1. Yakult Fiesta 2023 Family Fashion Show Contest (the “Contest”) is organised by Yakult (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (the “Organizer”). 

2. The Contest will be held at Seremban Yakult Factory (the “Venue”) on 26th August 2023 as stated in the microsite that can be accessed through Yakult Malaysia website (the “Official Website”).

ELIGIBILITY

3. The Contest is open to all families residing in Malaysia only (“Participant”). By participating in the Contest, parents/ guardian of the participants below the age of 18 years are deemed to have agreed/ given expressed permission to participate in the Contest and the terms and conditions. 

4. Each participating family must consist of a minimum of three (3) family members, combination of adult and children is encouraged.

5. Employee of the Organizer including their immediate family member, authorized distributors, wholesalers, companies/ corporations, and their agents are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION

6. To participate in the Contest, Participants must comply with each of the following:

i. Take a clear photo featuring all participating members in their outfits. The outfits must be relevant to the colourful theme of the Contest.

ii. Submit the photo together with complete details at the microsite that can be accessed through the Official Website at www.yakult.com.my by 18/08/2023 at 11:59pm. No walk in registration is allowed.

7. Only ten (10) participating families will be shortlisted. Shortlisted families will be notified by the Organizer via a confirmation e-mail (“Confirmation E-mail’) and/ or Whatsapp text messaging (“Confirmation Text”). 

8. Participants that received the Confirmation E-mail and/or Text are required to acknowledge and confirm their participation in the Contest and their presence in the Venue as per dealine stated (“Confirmed Participants”).

9. Participant shall provide true, accurate, current and complete information. The Organizer may contact the Participant from time to time by email, call or WhatsApp text message. Any notice sent shall be deemed as received by the Participant. If the Participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, the Organizer may at any time suspend, revoke, cancel or terminate the Participant’s registration for the Contest.

10. The Organizer will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.

CONTEST

11. The Contest begins on 26th August 2023 at 1:45pm and ends on 26th August 2023 at 3:30pm (the “Contest Period”).  

12. During the Contest, each Confirmed Participants required to:

i. Present their outfit within five (5) minutes. The outfits must be relevant to the theme and adhere to local laws and regulations. The presentation and interview are scored based on the judging criteria.

ii. Arrive at least 1 hour before

iii. Prepare their own music/ audio in MP3 format and pass to the Organizer upon arrival.

iv. May use accesories and props to enhance their presentation but must ensure that they do not pose any harm or danger to others.

13. No rehearsal for visual and sound testing will be conducted. 

JUDGING CRITERIA

14. Each Confirmed Participant will be evaluated by a panel of judges appointed by the Organizer. 

15. The judging criteria will include but not to be limited to:

i. Relevance to the theme (30%)

ii. Creativity (20%)

iii. Matching Outfits (20%)

iv. Oral Presention/ Interview (20%)

v. Audience Engagement (10%)

16. The Organizer’s decisions are final and no correspondence thereon will be entertained. 

WINNER ANNOUCEMENT

17. Winners will be annouced on the same day as the Contest during the prize giving ceremony that will take place at the Venue. 

18. All Participants are required to stay until the prize giving ceremony.

19. Should the selected Winners failed to be contacted by the Organiser before the prize giving ceremony, the Prize will be forfeited and the Winner will be replaced

PRIZES

20. The Contest Prizes are as follow:

i. 1st Prize (x1): Cash RM 500

ii. 2nd Prize (x1): Cash RM 300 

iii. 3rd Prize (x1): Cash RM 200 

21. The Prizes are not exchangeable and/or transferable. No substitutions for Prizes except by the Organizer, in which case a Prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

22. By participating  in the Contest, each Participant: 

i. agrees to be responsible, at his/her own costs, for arranging transportation, meals, accommodation, and other incidental costs related thereto. The Organizer will not be responsible in any whatsoever for the costs, expenses, loss or damage incurred by the participants as a result of participating in this Contest. 

ii. acknowledges and agrees that his/her participation in the Contest is entirely at his/her own risks. The Organizer will not be responsible in any way whatsoever and howsoever caused for any loss, damage, injury, disability or death resulting from his/her participation in the Contest.

iii.have the potential to be photographed/ filmed/ recorded in some fashion. These recordings may be used in future galleries or promotions. 

23. The Organizer reserves the right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without any prior notice.

24. By participating in this Contest, Participants agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless from and against any lawsuits, claims, losses, damages and expenses, including legal fees that may arise from or in connection with the Contest.

25. By participating in the Contest, Participants agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Contest and grant the Organizer and their partner companies the use of data collected through the Contest, likeness, biographical data and statements for purposes, including, without limitation, advertising, trade, or promotion, in perpetuity, in any all media now known or hereafter devised, without compensation, unless prohibited by law.
