YAKULT REACHES NEW RECORD IN COLLECTING RM 315,000.00 TO HELP RAISE SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR THE MALAYSIAN DEAF SPORTS ASSOCIATION (MSDEAF) 

27 January 2022, Petaling Jaya – Yakult Malaysia sets a new record by raising funds amounting to RM315,000.00 through the organization of the Yakult All Stars Charity Football Match which took place on 11 December 2021 at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium. The match was successfully held to help The Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf) raise funds for sports development. 

As main sponsor of this charity match, Yakult not only contributed their time and effort to organise and promote the charity match, but they also further contributed a total of RM121,000.00 to absorb the expenses involved in organising the match. The donation cheque amounting to RM243,700.00 was handed over to the President of the Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf), Ong Shin Ruenn, in a ceremony held in Petaling Jaya, today. The amount represents the total proceeds after deducting the overall cost of organising the charity match. 

The match, which received full support from the National Sports Council (NSC), also received support from leading Japanese companies in Malaysia which are the main sponsors for the tournament such as Panasonic, Matsuoka Projects, Ajinomoto, Mitsui & Co and Mitsui Fudosan. In addition, there are over 34 other companies also involved as sponsors for the tournament. 

In this ceremony, the Managing Director of Yakult Malaysia, Hiroshi Hamada said, this program will be continued and will be made an annual event by Yakult Malaysia in helping those in need. It will also be further expanded to other sports bodies in line with the main mission of this company which is to bring health and happiness to everyone through the organization of such sports tournaments. 

For the record, amongst the local football players who have been involved in the success of the program are Indra Putra Mahayuddin, Zaquan Adha, Syed Adney, Azmi Muslim, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Nurshamil Abdul Ghani, Razman Roslan, Badhri Mohd Radzi and several others. Also present at the charity match were Japanese football legend Masashi Motoyama, as well as several Japanese players who played in other Malaysian Leagues such as Yuta Suzuki, Yuki Tanigawa, Akira Higashiyama, Bruno Suzuki and Shuhei Fukai. 

  

YAKULT CATAT REKOD BARU KUMPUL RM 315,000.00 BANTU PERSATUAN SUKAN ORANG PEKAK MALAYSIA (MSDEAF) KUMPUL DANA PEMBANGUNAN SUKAN 

27 Januari 2022, Petaling Jaya – Yakult Malaysia mencipta satu rekod baru apabila berjaya mengumpul RM315,000.00 melalui penganjuran Perlawanan Bola Sepak Amal Yakult All Star yang telah berlangsung pada 11 Disember 2021 yang lalu bertempat di Stadium Bola Sepak Kuala Lumpur. Perlawanan yang diadakan bagi membantu Persatuan Sukan Orang Pekak Malaysia (MSDeaf) mengumpul dana bagi pembangunan sukan telah berjaya di adakan dengan jayanya.  

Sebagai penaja utama perlawanan amal ini, Yakult bukan sahaja telah menyumbangkan masa dan tenaga bagi menganjur dan mempromosikan perlawanan amal tersebut, malah mereka juga telah menyumbang sejumlah RM121,000.00 bagi menampung sebahagian perbelanjaan penganjuran perlawanan. Cek sumbangan berjumlah RM243,700.00 telah diserahkan kepada kepada Presiden Persatuan Sukan Orang Pekak Malaysia (MSDeaf), Ong Shin Ruenn, dalam sebuah majlis yang diadakan di Petaling Jaya, hari ini. Jumlah tersebut merupakan hasil kutipan selepas menolak kos penganjuran perlawanan amal tersebut. 

Perlawanan tersebut yang mendapat sokongan sepenuhnya dari Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN), turut mendapat sokongan daripada syarikat-syarikat terkemuka Jepun yang beroperasi di Malaysia yang menjadi penaja utama untuk kejohanan ini seperti syarikat Panasonic, Matsuoka Projects, Ajinomoto, Mitsui & Co dan Mitsui Fudosan. Selain itu, terdapat lebih 34 syarikat lain juga terlibat selaku penaja untuk kejohanan tersebut.  

Dalam majlis berkaitan, Pengarah Urusan Yakult Malaysia, Hiroshi Hamada berkata, program  ini akan diteruskan lagi dan dijadikan sebagai acara tahunan oleh pihak Yakult Malaysia dalam membantu mereka yang memerlukan. Ianya juga akan diperluaskan lagi untuk badan-badan sukan yang lain selaras dengan misi utama syarikat ini yang ingin membawa kesihatan dan kegembiraan kepada semua orang melalui penganjuran kejohanan sukan seumpama ini. 

Sebagai rekod, antara pemain-pemain bola sepak tempatan yang telah terlibat menjayakan program tersebut adalah  Indra Putra Mahayuddin, Zaquan Adha, Syed Adney, Azmi Muslim, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Nurshamil Abdul Ghani, Razman Roslan, Badhri Mohd Radzi serta beberapa lagi nama besar yang lain. Turut bersama dalam perlawanan amal tersebut adalah pemain lagenda bola sepak Jepun, Masashi Motoyama, serta beberapa pemain Jepun yang beraksi di Liga Malaysia yang lain seperti Yuta Suzuki, Yuki Tanigawa, Akira Higashiyama, Bruno Suzuki serta Shuhei Fukai.
